How care works here.
Care begins with a full clinical evaluation — your history, symptoms, health, functioning, and goals. Together you and your provider talk through your options and agree on a personalized plan, explained in plain language. Medication is prescribed only when clinically appropriate, with monitoring, education, and adjustments as needed. Follow-up appointments check what is working and adjust the plan when it is not. Care looks at the whole person — sleep, stress, habits, relationships, routines, and what you want life to look like. Your voice counts in every decision.
What to expect at your first appointment.
Your first appointment is a thorough evaluation. You will discuss your history, symptoms, health, functioning, and goals, then talk through options together and agree on a personalized plan. Follow-up appointments focus on progress, questions, and next steps. There is no need to have everything figured out before you arrive, and you can bring questions or notes about what depression has been like for you. The conversation is unhurried, and the plan is agreed together, so you leave with a clear next step and support that fits your pace.
Meet your provider.
Keesha Hamilton-Fowler, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Brain Bridge Psychiatry, LLC. She provides compassionate, personalized, evidence-based care in a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. Her holistic approach considers how physical health, emotional experiences, relationships, culture, and daily habits influence mental well-being.
Telepsychiatry.
Appointments are available by secure telepsychiatry in Georgia, Washington State, and New Hampshire. Meet from home on a secure video visit — care that fits your day, with no travel and no waiting room. Meeting from a private space at home can make it easier to talk openly about depression, and care can still be reviewed and adjusted over time in the same steady way.
