Grief & Loss

Grief has no timetable. Whether your loss is recent or long past, care offers a nonjudgmental space to name what you are carrying, honor what matters, and find steady footing for the days ahead.

Each plan is shaped to you, after a full clinical evaluation.

What grief and loss can look like.

Grief and loss can show up as deep sadness, longing, and a sense of emptiness after losing someone or something that mattered. Days can feel heavier, and ordinary routines can take more effort. There is no timetable for grief. Your evaluation helps clarify the picture and the plan, so care can offer a nonjudgmental space to name what you are carrying, honor what matters, and find steady footing for the days ahead — at a pace that fits you. Grief can also affect sleep, appetite, and concentration, and it can return in waves around dates or places that matter. Care looks at those responses too, so support can stay patient and unhurried, one steady step at a time.

How care works here.

Care begins with a full clinical evaluation — your history, symptoms, health, functioning, and goals. Together you and your provider talk through your options and agree on a personalized plan, explained in plain language. Medication is prescribed only when clinically appropriate, with monitoring, education, and adjustments as needed. Follow-up appointments check what is working and adjust the plan when it is not. Care looks at the whole person — sleep, stress, habits, relationships, routines, and what you want life to look like. Your voice counts in every decision.

What to expect at your first appointment.

Your first appointment is a thorough evaluation. You will discuss your history, symptoms, health, functioning, and goals, then talk through options together and agree on a personalized plan. Follow-up appointments focus on progress, questions, and next steps. There is no need to have everything figured out before you arrive, and you can bring questions or notes about what grief has been like for you. The conversation is unhurried, and the plan is agreed together, so you leave with a clear next step and support that fits your pace.
